The crystal clear dome decal product line was almost discovered by accident. When we test our doming equipment, we grab a piece of white or clear material and make some test labels with it.

Well, a few of these clear test dome labels were sitting around and someone put one in a sample pack. They mailed it to a customer (I think that first one was a 1" circle). They loved them and ordered more!

Where can I use Clear Dome Labels?

Quality is engineered into Crystal Clear Dome Decals. The key qualities we targeted for this product are:

• Maximum clarity - without yellowing.
• Excellent adhesion with high initial tack.

We tested many substrates. We selected a premium material to insure maximum clarity with a strong adhesive for a maximum bond.

An automotive grade mercury-free polyurethane is applied with computer controlled equipment. The polyurethane hardens into a crystal clear dome without the yellowing effects of an epoxy dome. The material is also also RoHS compliant and Lead-free.

To make the crystal clear dome decals as economical as possible the standard sizes are made in large quantities. Small quantities as low as 25 are available here online for you to add to your shopping cart. Contact us if you need custom sizes or big quantities. We can make almost any size or shape.

Application Tips and Tricks. 

Here are a few tips that will help in applying a clear dome on top of your artwork:

If your artwork is already cut into the shape carefully apply the dome by starting on one side and pressing the clear dome down as you move your finger across the label.

Another tip that helps is to slightly warm the clear dome decals. This softens the adhesive which will help prevent small air pockets from forming. It also makes the dome conform to the surface better. Placing the clear dome decal around a curved surface is not recommended.
